Why should we care?

The Environmental Reporting Collective is a network of journalists and newsrooms from over a dozen countries, dedicated to investigating environmental crimes collaboratively. One of their recent projects, 'Beneath the Sands' underscores why there is an urgent need to manage this resource better. They show how sand underpins lives and livelihoods across the world.
